Have You Seen My Cat?
Nathaniel's speech is really coming along, and we have the esteemed author Eric Carle to blame. His book "Have You Seen My Cat?" is currently Nathaniel's favorite, and from it, he's been able to identify "Puma, Cheetah, and Leopard". Minnie and Maggie are jealous, to say the least. Mee-Yow!

Pops pays enough to the Taxman each year--and after dumping a small fortune into lame RRSPs usually collects a handsome tax return every spring. Well, this year, instead of giving it all to the credit card company like he should have, he kept a small morsel of it for himself and decided to invest in the next wave of irresistable technology: the iPad, of course. Specifically, the iPad 2. With the boys being so skilled with the smaller iPod and iPhone, and with so many games being written for toddlers specifically for the larger screen, it seemed like a worthy investment for the whole family to explore and enjoy. Besides, it'll be perfect to hang in the back seat during car trips--playing "Help!" around the clock, obviously...

Block Party
Ever year, the local St. Mary's Church throws its Santo Cristo street fair and this year, the boys got a view up front and centre. They each got a balloon courtesy of what must be the GTA's only combo balloon artist-slash-police security, before we high-tailed it down oh-so-fashionable Queen Street West to the requisite series of "oohs" and "awwws" from passersby. Mom and Pops stopped by Craft Burger for some gourmet beef slabs before we headed home, only to have the boys eat up all of our fries!
