pounds, that is, and today, we found out that both Carter and Nathaniel have more than tripled their birth weights.
Carter has reached an amazing 13 pounds, 4 oz (even he looks surprised to hear the figures)...
...with Nathaniel only slightly behind at 13 pounds, 3.8 oz...which seems unlikely at first, given that at first glance (and lift) he seems the heftier of the two--then again, with his constant wiggling and newfound habit of rolling over, he tends to exhaust both of us faster...
With no needles required until the next visit (believe me, I've got that date circled in forboding red ink on the calender), the dynamic duo (not to mention their harried parents) left in better spirits than usual...
...and true-to-form attracted an adoring glance from a complete stranger who passed us in the elevator and pronounced them "so cute"...(as if we didn't know it, but thanks anyway...). If only the boys' natural charms could've worked similiar magic on the parking garage attendant...
