June Vacation 2010: Day 1 (part 2)

Day One concludes with a reunion with Nanny after a too-long seven month wait. Within hours, Carter had already discovered the kitchen rooster, the musical moose, the cool stuff under Grandma's counter, the broom, the fake dog in the garage, the joys of all-country radio, and most of all: a new wagon, in which he and Nathaniel toured the route to my old high school and encountered some exotic wildlife along the way. This pretty much established the key themes of the week--with Grandma and Grandpa doing a lot more pushing and pulling than perhaps originally planned...
