Mom And Dad At The Toronto Film Fest...
Thanks to the services of the ever-reliable Karen, and some careful scheduling, Mom and Dad were able to continue their annual ritual of attending the Toronto International Film Festival, esp. now that the new Bell Lightbox command centre has opened up just a few blocks away from home, and the entire spectacle has moved from its usual Bloor/Yonge hub with it. The excellent vampire remake "Let Me In", the bittersweet drama "Girlfriend" (featuring a gifted actor with Down Syndrome) and a new horror shocker from John Carpenter were just a few of the highlights. In a few years, Carter and Nathaniel will tag along for the fun...
