Carter's recovery is going a little too slowly for our comfort level--despite an increase in appetite and his ability to keep his bottle down--so we brought him to the new neighbourhood walk-in clinic for an expert's advice. The very nice Dr. Cohen diagnosed his weakened condition a viral infection and told us to pretty much wait-it-out. We were given a prescription in case it dragged out for a few more days and made it back home through yet another day-long downpour, and Carter promptly requested that he be brought to his bed. Carter--we'll lick this thing yet!
