Our last visit of 2011 to Dr. P wasn't exactly one the boys will remember fondly--flu shots after all (and as Carter pointed out "George doesn't like needles")--but being the first appointment resulting in the shortest visit in memory has to count for something. The boys are more or less the same weight--30 pounds, give or take a Cheerio--and are now protected about whatever mutant form the flu will take this year. We were soon back home before Karren arrived, and the needles forgotten (although Carter still talks about his "sticker")...
