A Very Geeky Christmas

Pops has never had a problem being called a "geek" or a "nerd"--not that it's happened all that often--after all, it's the geeks and the nerds who have inherited the Earth. I'm a big fan of the website "Thinkgeek.com", which offers the coolest toys and gadgets, most of which, sadly, are not available in Canada. I'd placed an order for a few choice items for myself, but couldn't resist picking up the ultimate Christmas gift for the boys: a Tauntaun sleeping bag from "The Empire Strikes Back" (Pop's favorite movie), which is large enough to accomodate both Carter and Nathaniel on chilly nights. Of course, the boys will likely eventually regard the "Star Wars" series as corny old movies their dad makes them watch, but since they're currently both obsessed with Yoda, why not have some fun? I picked up the "Genius Flashcards", too, because it's never too early to learn the periodic table of elements....
