Surrey's Tuesday Music Class

Nathaniel's speech therapists Kathy and Chris recommended a new class being held at Surrey Place Centre, so we thought we'd check it out, having not been to Surrey--for other than hearing tests--in quite some time now.

Nathaniel's memory of the layout was amazing, as he lead me to the lab where Dr. Smitheringale last inspected his ears.
Soon, we were welcomed into room 126 for a full house for the first music class meeting...

Our first exercise was to construct a "shaker" out of a cardboard tube, stickers, and dry noodles...
After that, we were lead in several songs by Bonnie and co. that Nathaniel already knew fluently, thanks to Shelly/Sarah's drop-in..

"Rough Road", "Row Row Row Your Boat", "If You're Happy And You Know It", and even "Sleepy Bunny'...
Nathaniel got along well with everybody and made some new friends. After snacks, it was time to bounce a ball around and play under the parachute...
The hour flew by...Nathaniel made an impression and reaquainted himself with some friends from past visits.

After final inspection, we were on our way back home. Everyone was so pleased to see him again after a good long time, and were amazed at how cute he's become and tall he's grown. What can be said--he makes it look easy...
