Halloween Pt 2: Party In The Park

As a warmup to the big night, the generous folks who comprise The Friends Of Stanley Park hosted an informal afternoon shindig in celebration of the creepy holiday, and cool ghouls of all sizes--and species--turned up to show off their costumes. Thankfully the weather cooperated as the youngsters enjoyed complimentary candy and facepainting.

Carter and Nathaniel were a hit in their superhero garb and charmed the locals (on the other hand, I'm not sure how many people actually "got" that I was wearing an U.S.S. Enterprise uniform and not merely a bad dresser)--not an easy task when your main competition is daschund with a monkey on her back!
