I was fifteen when I attended my first comic book convention (in Ottawa)--Carter and Nathaniel have me beaten by about twelve years. This weekend hosted the Toronto Comic Con's "Fan Appreciation" event, which meant for smaller-than-usual bonanza, but just the right size for the boys to take in the sights, acquire some cool new stuff, and meet n' greet the likes of R2-D2, The Joker, the most recent, Batman and the timeless Imperial Stormtroopers. Our first purchase of the day was a plush Superman, which stood only an inch shorter than Carter!!!
