A wash-out last year, Free Comic Book Day was a return-to-form this time around (to commemorate the release of Marvel's new "Thor" film), with the boys securing a photo-op with several Star Wars figures and Pops picking up some freebie books inside the soon-to-be-moved neighbourhood stalwart Silver Snail (due to complicated reasons, relocating somewhere, sometime, next year). Carter recognized the characters immediately and shouted out "Star Wars"! We popped into nearby Chapters because Carter requested a "Callouil" book and we were able to find a new Eric Carle book for Nathaniel, too.
